TikTok Now offers users a reminder once a day, asking them to take a picture or video within a set duration to share with friends, and users, like the rising BeReal, can’t view what their friends have uploaded until they share their own. TikTok adds a 10-second video option, while BeReal only enables still photographs, but the two are otherwise essentially similar.
