Nvidia is including a copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered with its higher-end RTX 30-series graphics cards. Nvidia will offer a free digital copy of the $59.99 game with the purchase of a GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, 3090, 3080 Ti, or 3080 GPU — or a qualified desktop or laptop that has those cards.
The newest freebie Nvidia is using to attempt to encourage consumers to purchase their cards is Spider-Man Remastered, which is presently one of the top-selling games on Steam. Following the success of the original Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4, a remastered version of the game was released in August for PC (and Steam Deck). The game’s PC version supports ultrawide displays as well as Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), which should allow for higher-resolution gaming and faster frame rates.
You may take advantage of the promotion till October 12th. So, if you’re in the market for a new GPU right now, it wouldn’t be a terrible time to get one.
Nvidia actually built too many cards, which is one of the reasons why its GPU pricing is so much cheaper than its MSRP right now. Instead of its $1,999 MSRP, Best Buy sells the top RTX 3090 Ti for $1,099 today. Nvidia is also likely seeking to create a place for its future 40-series cards by offering game bundles and hefty discounts on its 30-series GPUs. With its high-end GPUs, Nvidia began releasing Ghostwire: Tokyo, Doom Eternal, and the Doom Eternal: Year One Pass in July.
