No Man’s Sky VR Gets Fractal Update for PS VR2 Launch

Hello Games has announced a free update for No Man’s Sky called “Fractal” that aims to overhaul the game’s virtual reality experience on all platforms. The studio stated that it has redesigned the HUD and user interface in No Man’s Sky to make every interaction within the game feel natural and purpose-built. In addition, Hello Games has created ways for players to interact with their tools in a more efficient manner, such as accessing all of their Multi-Tool’s capabilities through a menu embedded into the device.

For PlayStation VR2 users, the update will include platform-specific enhancements, including 3D audio technology and intelligent tracking. The PS VR2 release also features enhanced reflections, denser foliage, higher-quality textures, and better draw distances, among other technical improvements. Players can seamlessly switch between VR and standard gameplay whenever they want to take a break from the headset.
