The organizations could assist Netflix in identifying potential hits as it attempts to recover from the damage from its most recent earnings report, in which it reported losing subscribers for the first time in over a decade. Netflix laid off 150 employees and at least 26 contractors Thursday, following more layoffs in April. The company has also announced the debut of an ad-supported plan and a crackdown on password sharing.
