Nadeshot responds to criticism of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

According to Haag, the seeming hatred for Modern Warfare 2 and every subsequent Call of Duty release is mainly a waste of time considering how little the series’ fundamental underpinnings have altered over the years. He seems to go a step further, hinting that being outraged over difficulties at launch is a waste of time since most players are aware that there would be glitches and extra material released quickly after release. Haag’s viewpoint is also not unjustified, considering how maintenance and day-one updates have been the standard in the video game business in recent years.

Some players may not be shocked by Haag’s opinions on the Modern Warfare 2 player base and the possible backlash he could encounter given how vocal he has been throughout his career. He was in hot water earlier in August 2022 when content producers The Mob accused 100 Thieves of “predatory behaviour” over a year after being dismissed by 100 Thieves, an allegation Haag seemed to take personally when addressing it on broadcasts. It’s doubtful that his latest remarks would find him in the same heated trouble, but it wouldn’t be unexpected if some in the Call of Duty community took aim at Haag online.
