In addition to the revamped world and character dynamics, Mortal Kombat 1 introduces a thrilling new feature to the fighting mechanics known as “Kameos.” Upon selecting a character, players now have the option to choose a guest fighter to provide support during fights. By simply pressing a single button (R1 on PlayStation), players can summon their chosen guest fighter, combining it with specific directional inputs to unleash a variety of unique moves. Kameos also extend to throws and fatalities, adding an extra layer of versatility and flexibility to combat encounters.
