The Snipping Tool provides more flexibility than the Print Screen button, with rectangular and freeform modes that enable you to capture just the content you need. But for power users, the change may not be an improvement. The Print Screen button is often tucked away on keyboards and may be less convenient than using the existing Snipping Tool shortcut (Win key + Shift + S).
