You see, when Microsoft announced the availability of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google were already a few months into introducing their own Generative AI, namely the Google Duet AI for Workspace. So, in order to stay on par with the competition, it seems that Microsoft replicated the price strategy. This means that both Google Duet AI for Workspace and Microsoft 365 Copilot will both cost organisations $30 per user each month in addition to their existing subscriptions.
For Microsoft customers, this implies an additional $30 on top of their E3 and E3 licences, which cost $36 and $57 per person each month depending on an annual commitment in the case of Microsoft 365, respectively.
