Insomniac Games’ predecessor, Marvel’s Spider-Man, was a big success. While Spider-Man is usually a popular character, video games based on him have often battled for critical praise. Fans were pleasantly pleased when the web-slinging and combat, which had been criticised in prior instalments, received special appreciation. Despite this, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 still has room for improvement.
