It’s official: a new Daredevil live-action series is coming to Disney Plus. The revelation was previously leaked earlier this year, but Marvel confirmed the series’ existence Thursday evening at Comic-Con. Daredevil: Born Again will star Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as Daredevil and the Kingpin, respectively. The show is set to premiere on Disney Plus in the spring of 2024.
Cox and D’Onofrio will reprise their roles from the original series, which launched as part of a deal with Netflix; however, early this year, all of Netflix’s Marvel series — including Jessica Jones and Luke Cage — left the streamer to join Disney Plus. D’Onofrio’s Kingpin has already been on Disney’s streaming service in a role on last year’s Hawkeye.
Meanwhile, She-Hulk will be the next major MCU series to arrive on Disney Plus, and Marvel has just published a new trailer for it at SDCC.
