The Audi TT, a beloved icon among sports car enthusiasts, isn’t ready to bow out just yet. In Spain, a limited-edition variant is set to celebrate a remarkable 25 years of TT production, and it promises to be something truly special. With only 25 individually numbered coupes up for grabs, this exclusive release is a fitting tribute to a car that has captured the hearts of enthusiasts since its debut in 1998.
Performance and Power
Based on the 45 TFSI Quattro variant, this limited-edition Audi TT packs a punch. Its turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine has been tuned to deliver an impressive 245 horsepower to an all-wheel-drive system through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This combination propels the TT from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 5.1 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).
Striking Design and Exclusive Features
The limited-edition TT is presented in a captivating Nogaro Blue finish, although buyers can also opt for Tango Red or Glacier White. The design is enhanced with tinted windows and the inclusion of the S Line Competition Packages. The 20-inch black Audi Sport wheels, featuring a distinctive 10 Y-spoke design, perfectly complement the red brake calipers.
Inside, the cabin exudes luxury and sportiness with a blend of leather and Alcantara materials. The choice of red or blue contrasting stitching depends on the exterior body color. From the S sports seats to the flat-bottomed steering wheel, this Spain-exclusive TT comes loaded with standard equipment. It features decorative inserts in carbon and boasts tech innovations like the Audi Virtual Cockpit and matrix LED headlights.
Exclusive Ownership
For those fortunate enough to acquire one of the 25 limited-edition TTs, it will be a truly exclusive ownership experience. Each coupe will be individually numbered, adding to its collectible value. The price tag for this special piece of automotive history is set at €72,800, with sales expected to commence in November.
This special edition follows Audi’s celebration of the TT’s 25th anniversary with the Iconic Edition just a year ago. That variant, based on the range-topping RS, was limited to Nardo Grey and produced in a limited quantity of 100 units for European markets. While the United States didn’t receive a run-out special edition, it was announced that 2023 would mark the final model year for the Audi TT. Notably, in late 2021, the U.S. did see the TT RS Heritage edition to bid farewell to the five-cylinder model.
In Spain, this limited-edition TT serves as a remarkable tribute to a storied legacy, promising an exceptional driving experience for those fortunate enough to own one.
