Glen Schofield the creator and executive producer of the original Dead Space revealed that he recently pitched ideas for Dead Space 4 to Electronic Arts but the proposal was declined. Schofield stated he offered to reassemble the original leadership team use models from EA Motive's 2023 remake and reduce development costs by 30 to 40 million dollars yet EA expressed no interest in pursuing the project.
