The JumpMod Haptic Backpack is a new VR technology developed by a research team at the University of Chicago’s Human-Computer Integration Lab. It aims to enhance the VR experience by fooling the user’s sense of proprioception (the perception of body position and movement) to make jumping in VR feel more lifelike.
