Jenson Button’s comments on Lance Stroll’s F1 future could have major implications

Despite starting the Canadian Grand Prix from 16th position, Stroll’s ninth-place finish earned him praise from Aston Martin team boss Mike Krack. Krack highlighted Stroll’s strong race performance, managing to achieve competitive lap times on hard tires while being stuck in traffic. However, former McLaren and Red Bull driver David Coulthard remains unconvinced that Stroll possesses the necessary qualities to help Aston Martin reach their full potential this season.

Coulthard emphasized the importance of objective timing and results, stating, “The stopwatch doesn’t lie.” While acknowledging that Stroll has displayed talent throughout his career, Coulthard believes that there comes a point where excuses can no longer be made.
