iPhone 17 Leak Reveals Apple’s Boldest Design Yet – And a Shocking Twist

Hold onto your wallets, Apple fans. A new hands-on video leak just gave us our clearest look yet at the iPhone 17 lineup – and the Pro model is sporting a radical camera redesign that’ll either thrill you or give you déjà vu.

The video, courtesy of iDeviceHelp via @MajinBuOfficial, shows dummy units based on internal Apple documents. The star? The iPhone 17 Pro’s full-width camera bar – a sleek, horizontal strip that makes current iPhones look downright archaic. Meanwhile, the rumored iPhone 17 Air (replacing the Plus model) gets a smaller bump, and the standard iPhone 17 plays it safe with a familiar iPhone 16-esque design.

“But how thick are they?” Glad you asked. The leaks suggest:

  • iPhone 17: 0.3 inches (same as iPhone 16)
  • iPhone 17 Air: An ultra-slim 0.22 inches (thinner than a pencil!)
  • iPhone 17 Pro: 0.34 inches (slightly chunkier than its predecessor)

Here’s where it gets controversial. That iPhone 17 Air might be too thin for MagSafe magnets – though wireless charging will still work. Sound familiar? It should. The budget iPhone 16e already ditched MagSafe, and now Apple might be doubling down on minimalism.

Why this matters: Apple’s playing a risky game. The Pro’s camera bar could be the next notch – a love-it-or-hate-it signature. And if the Air really kills MagSafe, accessory makers will riot. But hey, at least the Pro’s extra thickness might mean better battery life. Maybe.
