Introducing Nothing’s Budget-Friendly Sub-Brand and Exciting New Smartwatch

Nothing, a relatively new company that has achieved success in a short period, is launching a sub-brand called CMF by Nothing. CMF stands for “Color, Material, and Finish,” and the sub-brand will focus on offering affordable products with clean design. The CEO, Carl Pei, announced that CMF will introduce a new range of products, including a smartwatch and earbuds, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.

While Nothing itself prioritizes a premium feel and design innovation, CMF aims to make better design more accessible by offering lower-priced products. The sub-brand will operate independently with a different team, so it won’t distract from Nothing’s main line of smartphones, earbuds, and other gadgets.

Notably, Nothing already offers relatively affordable options, such as the Nothing Phone 2, priced at $600, and the Ear 1 earbuds, initially launched at $100 before a price increase to $150 due to material costs. CMF’s approach will further cater to budget-conscious consumers seeking well-designed products without compromising on quality. The smartwatch and earbuds from CMF are expected to be released later this year.
