How to send a fax from your Mac or your Macbook

In this tutorial, we will show you how to send a fax from your Mac or Macbook.

Open the document that you want to fax. Click on File and then Print.

Now, locate the PDF drop-down menu and click on the Fax PDF option.

Choose your multifunction printer from the Printer drop-down menu.

Now, you can enter the fax number using any of the methods mentioned below.

1. In the ‘To Field’, directly enter the fax number of the recipient.
2. If you see a Contacts button to the right of the To field, click it to select a number.
3. To paste a number into the To field when the Edit > Paste command isn’t available, press and hold the Control key as you click in the To field, then choose Paste from the menu that appears.

If your phone system requires you to dial a prefix for an outside line, type it in the Dialling Prefix field.

If you want to add a cover page for the fax, select the use cover page option and enter the necessary details.
