How to send a blind group text on iMessage

How to send a blind group text on iMessage

If you have a message that you want to send to multiple contacts at once, then two situations arise –

  1. The contacts know each other, in which case, you can simply create a group and send the message to that group.
  2. The contacts do not know each other, in which case, you will want to send a blind group message.

Blind group message is where you select contacts you want to send the message to, and the message is sent separately, rather than creating a group automatically. Currently, iMessage does not have this blind group text feature, and as such, the only solution for you is to copy the contents of the message and simply paste it into the different chats.

While this may seem time-consuming, it is important to understand, that the reason we don’t have this feature in iMessage is actually Apple’s attempt to curb spam or fake news posts. People have a habit of bulk posting such messages, and by removing this feature, it makes it time-consuming to actually copy and paste this message into multiple chats, thereby, reducing the risk of such spam or fake posts from going viral, at least on the iMessage platform.
