  1. First step in this process is to open the Services Window. You can do this by searching for Services in the Cortana Search bar, or by using the Windows Key + R to open a run window, and searching for Services there.

  2. In the Services Window, scroll through the list and locate the Function Discovery Provider Host option.

  3. Click once on the Function Discovery Provider Host option. Now Right click on it and select Properties.

  4. This will open a new window with the relevant setting for the Function Discovery Provider Host option. here, check if the Service is running, and if it is, then Stop it.
  5. Next, click on the Startup type drop down and select the Automatic (Delayed Start) option. Now under the Service status tab, click on Start.

  6. Click on Apply and then click on OK to save the changes.
  7. Make sure you Reboot your Windows 10 PC/Laptop to confirm the changes.
