The Android Operating System has been shortening the gap between a smartphone and PC, with many of the more conventional desktop PC features slowly making their way into Android devices. Today, almost 70% of the tasks that you could do only on a PC, can be accomplished using an Android smartphone.
But it’s not just apps and services that have been ported, Google has added many Computer-based gestures also into the Android platform, and the most popular is the Copy and Paste operation.
Thanks to some advanced text detection, you can now copy a piece of text from an article or a message, and then paste it in a location of your choice. The best part is that the process is semi-automatic and feels completely akin to the same done on a computer.
In this tutorial, we will show you how to copy and paste on Android.
