When it comes to purely wireless earphones, nothing comes quite close to the Apple Airpods. The Cupertino giant has been developing and improving the Airpods over the years and no matter how cheap the competition gets, nothing comes close to beating the Airpods at its game.

If you are an iPhone user, using the Airtpods is an experience you don’t want to miss out since you are now able to use every little feature that Apple has added into the product. But if you are an Android user and you still want to use the Airpods with your smartphone, we have some good news for you, and some bad news. The bad news is that not all the features of the Airpods will work on the Android device, but the good news is that you can still use the Airpods on the Android smartphone.

In this tutorial, we will show you how to connect Airpods for Android.

Step 1. Open the Airpods case and press the rear button to enter the pairing mode on the Airpods.

Step 2. Open the Settings app on your Android smartphone.

Step 3. Tap on the Bluetooth option from the Settings menu.

Step 4. Locate the Airpods in the list of available devices and tap on the name to connect to them.

Your Android smartphone will now pair with the Airpods. While the music playback and media playback performance will be powerful, the gesture-based features will not work when you pair the Airpods to the Android smartphone.
