Open the ‘Settings’ app on your iPhone.
Scroll through the settings menu and tap on the ‘Sounds and Haptics’ option.
In the sounds and haptics menu, locate and tap on the ‘Ringtone’ option.
Here, you can choose the tone from the menu, and download new ones from the ‘Tone Store’ option.
If you want to know what the ringtone sounds like before applying it as your default, you can simply tap on each tone and you will hear in the instant preview.
In a similar fashion, you can assign tone-based notifications to almost every type of notification, like texts, voicemail, new mail, sent mail, calendar, reminders, and also airdrop.
