Adventure Mode – Adventure mode was designed specifically so that players could experience user-crafted custom maps and adventures. Gameplay is similar to survival mode but with various restrictions, which can be applied to the game world by the creator of the map. This forces players to obtain the required items and experience adventures in the way that the map maker intended. Another addition designed for custom maps is the command block; allowing allows map makers to expand interactions with players through scripted server commands. 
Also, if you are not in the mood to create something, or are suffering a creator’s block, you can even enter spectator mode and travel through other gamers’ worlds and pick up some inspiration along the way. What we are going to focus on today though, is Multiplayer Mode.
Bringing your Friends into the Mix Minecraft allows you to engage in competitive and fun multiplayer sessions where your friends and yourself can go all in to see who is the most creative and strategic of them all. One of the things we like to do is build individual castles and see who can conquer them all. However, even in Multiplayer mode, you are only limited by your imagination.
Players can run their own servers, use a hosting provider, or connect directly to another player’s game via Xbox Live. Single-player worlds have local area network support, allowing players to join a world on locally interconnected computers without a server setup.
Minecraft multiplayer servers are guided by server operators, who have access to server commands such as setting the time of day and teleporting players. Operators can also set up restrictions concerning which usernames or IP addresses are allowed or disallowed to enter the server. Multiplayer servers have a wide range of activities, with some servers having their own unique rules and customs. The largest and most popular server is Hypixel, which has been visited by over 14 million unique players.
We mentioned earlier that you can play competitively on Minecraft, and to do this, Minecraft allows you to enable player vs player combat so that you and your friends can fight it out to see who is the last man standing.
Another thing that we like about Multiplayer on Minecraft, is that it allows cross-play. This means that if you are playing Minecraft on PC, and your friends play it on the console, you can all still enjoy the same fluid multiplayer action.
