Hisense PX3-PRO TriChroma Laser Projector secured the top spot at the Prestigious Projector Showdown

Hisense announces PX3-Pro and C2 Ultra 4K Laser Projectors with 300-Inch capability

Hisense has officially revealed two new 4K laser projectors designed for high-end home cinema installations: the C2 Ultra and the PX3-Pro. These models utilize the company’s TriChroma triple-laser light engine, which covers 110% of the BT.2020 color space, providing a wider color gamut than standard LED or single-laser projection systems.

The C2 Ultra is a lifestyle-oriented long-throw projector that supports screen sizes ranging from 65 inches up to 300 inches. It is rated at 3,000 ANSI lumens, which allows for visibility in rooms with moderate ambient light. The hardware includes an integrated gimbal stand that permits 360-degree horizontal rotation and vertical tilting, facilitating ceiling projection or wall alignment without traditional mounting hardware. For audio, the C2 Ultra features a built-in 2.1-channel JBL sound system with a dedicated subwoofer housed in the base. It is also the first projector to receive “Xbox Certified” status, indicating low-latency performance and compatibility with gaming-specific features like Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and 4K/120Hz input.

The PX3-Pro is the newest flagship in Hisense’s ultra-short-throw (UST) category, succeeding the PX2-Pro. Designed to be placed just inches from a wall or screen, the PX3-Pro projects images from 80 to 150 inches. It features a peak brightness of 3,000 ANSI lumens, a significant increase over its predecessor, and a native contrast ratio of 3,000:1. The optics have been refined to improve corner-to-corner sharpness and reduce chromatic aberration. The PX3-Pro runs on the Google TV smart platform, providing native access to streaming applications like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube.

Both projectors support premium HDR formats, including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG. They also include “IMAX Enhanced” certification, ensuring they meet specific calibration standards for contrast, color, and clarity. For connectivity, both models offer HDMI 2.1 ports with eARC support, allowing for integration with external AV receivers or high-performance soundbars.

The Hisense PX3-Pro is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2025 with an estimated retail price of $3,499. The C2 Ultra is expected to follow in late 2025, though final pricing for the North American market has not been confirmed. Both units come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty and will be available through specialized home theater retailers and major electronics distributors.
