Design and Build Features

The Fluid Pro AI Gimbal features a lightweight and ergonomic design. It is small enough to carry on trips or mount on vehicles but sturdy enough to hold cameras securely. The device uses a three-axis stabilization system, which reduces pitch, yaw, and roll movements.

Built-in AI modes can automatically detect camera orientation, adjust tilt, and follow subjects smoothly. Users can choose between different filming modes, such as standard tracking, pan follow, and sport mode. The controls are accessible on the handle, allowing users to switch modes without interrupting shooting. Additionally, the gimbal supports long battery life, enabling extended recording sessions. The compact design and responsive controls make it suitable for both beginner and professional users.

AI Stabilization Technology

The Fluid Pro AI Gimbal’s AI functionality enhances traditional stabilization by predicting camera movements. Sensors detect motion patterns, and the AI software adjusts motor output to compensate for sudden jerks. This ensures smoother video in dynamic environments.

The AI also improves framing by keeping the subject centered in the shot. Users filming moving objects, such as pets, athletes, or vehicles, can benefit from consistent framing without manual adjustments. The combination of AI and mechanical stabilization provides results that are closer to professional cinema gimbals while remaining portable. The system works in real time, so footage does not require post-processing for stabilization.

Usability and Compatibility

The gimbal is designed for intuitive use. Users can mount compatible GoPro cameras in seconds and start recording immediately. The controls allow switching between AI modes and adjusting settings directly on the handle.

It is compatible with GoPro Hero series cameras and connects via Bluetooth for camera control features. Users can also adjust gimbal responsiveness and tracking settings through a dedicated mobile app. This allows for custom behavior depending on the activity. For instance, running may require faster motor response than walking. The combination of portability, AI features, and app integration makes the Fluid Pro AI Gimbal a versatile tool for content creators.

Fluid Pro AI is available for preorder today for $229.99 on GoPro.com and on-shelf at retail stores in early November.
