Google’s Nearby Share App for Windows PCs Now Officially Released

As the app officially rolls out, Google has introduced some new features to enhance the user experience. Users can now view an estimated time for file transfers, making it easier to plan their sharing activities. Device notifications will also include image previews, ensuring that users are sharing the intended files accurately. Google has exciting plans to incorporate additional features and collaborate with PC manufacturers, including HP, to pre-install the app on their systems.

To begin using Nearby Share for Windows, users need to enable the WiFi and Bluetooth functions on their PCs. Once set up, transferring files becomes a breeze. Users can simply drag a file into the app or right-click it and select the Nearby Share option to initiate a transfer to a nearby device.
