Google Wallet may be making a comeback

Google Wallet debuted in 2011 as Google’s NFC payment software, serving as a digital storage space for payment cards. It evolved as a digital (and sometimes physical) payment service throughout the years to become a Venmo competitor before being merged with Android Pay to form Google Pay in 2018. That software has since been completely redesigned, becoming much more than just a way to send money to friends and store digital cards.
