Google Search Introduces Grammar Check Feature for Enhanced User Writing

Google Search is stepping into the role of an English teacher by adding a grammar check tool to its functionality, giving users the ability to not only spell correctly but also write with proper grammar. This new tool is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices, aiming to provide users with improved writing quality and accuracy.

Named aptly as the “grammar check” tool, it assesses the grammatical correctness of sentences or phrases entered by users. In instances where errors are detected, Google offers suggestions for corrections. For instance, inputting the phrase “the cat bite me check grammar” prompts Google to offer the correction “the cat bit me.” Users can conveniently copy the suggested correction by hovering over the corrected text, revealing a “Copy” button. If the entered text is already grammatically accurate, the tool responds with a simple green checkmark.
