Google launches Veo 3 on Gemini in the Middle East

Google has officially launched Veo 3, its cutting-edge video generation model, in the Middle East. This marks a significant step in making advanced AI-powered creative tools more accessible, as Veo 3 is now available to all Google AI Pro subscribers across the region.

First unveiled at Google I/O in May, Veo 3 is designed to transform how users bring their creative visions to life. It combines compelling visuals with rich soundscapes, allowing for a truly immersive experience.

Create Custom Scenes with Veo 3 in the Gemini App

With Veo 3 seamlessly integrated into the Gemini app, users can now simply describe the scene they envision through a “prompt.” Veo 3 then takes this description and generates a custom eight-second video. These videos come complete with sound effects, ambient noise, dialogue, and music, all generated natively, and are delivered in 720p resolution.

Veo 3 stands out for its best-in-class quality, demonstrating exceptional capabilities in physics, realism, and adherence to user prompts. This means creators can expect high-fidelity outputs that closely match their intended vision.

Transparency and Responsible AI: SynthID Watermarking

Google is also prioritizing transparency and responsible AI usage with Veo 3. All content generated by Google’s generative AI models, including Veo 3, comes with a SynthID watermark embedded. This digital watermark helps identify AI-generated content. Google recently rolled out SynthID Detector to early testers and plans to expand access soon.

In an additional measure to aid identification, a visible watermark will be added to all videos generated by Veo 3, with the exception of videos created by Ultra members using Flow, Google’s latest tool tailored for AI filmmakers.

Starting today, users in the region can subscribe to Google AI Pro to begin experimenting with Veo 3 and explore the exciting possibilities of AI-powered video generation.
