Gmail’s New Notification Change Could Lead to Missed Emails

With this feature, users can now insert proposed meeting times from Google Calendar directly into their emails, eliminating the need to switch between different applications. The email recipient can review the suggested times and select one directly from the email, resulting in an automatic calendar invite.

This enhancement will be rolled out to all Google Workspace users in the coming weeks. It follows a recent update that provides improved location context for events and RSVPs in Gmail. Based on users’ stated work location (home or office), Gmail now offers a default join method for RSVPs, ensuring the most appropriate and accurate information is provided.
