Gmail for Android Introduces ‘Select All’ Function to Simplify Inbox Management

Mobile Users Can Now Easily Select Up to 50 Emails or Search Results

Although the “Select All” function has been available on desktop for some time, this marks its debut on mobile devices. The decision to cap the selection limit at 50 emails aligns with the desktop version, providing users with a convenient tool for managing their messages.

This release is part of Gmail’s ongoing efforts to enhance the mobile app and ensure that users can maximize their productivity and efficiency.

Earlier in June, Google introduced its AI-powered Help Me Write tool to Gmail for both Android and iOS users. This tool assists users in drafting email replies, offering editing suggestions for emails already composed or generating entire email responses based on user prompts. Users can further customize and refine these responses to match their preferences.
