Meaning – An alert is a message that is sent to the respective authorities, when there is problem that requires their intervention. An alert is meant to be taken at top priority, and is usually accompanied by a sires or a small ping to grab the attention of the recipient.
An alert may also be issued before the commencement of an impending task as a sort of warning to stay alert and pay attention. The word alert usually carries the same meaning in almost all contexts.
In the world of computers, an alert pops up, every time we try to do something that is not strictly according to the set protocol. However, an alert can only warn you, but ultimately, the final action is still in your hands.
