Microsoft has introduced official Xbox Series X console wraps, offering gamers the option to customize the appearance of their consoles. These wraps come in various designs, including a Starfield variant that complements the Starfield Xbox controller and the Starfield Wireless Headset. The wraps are designed to be affordable and sustainable alternatives to purchasing special or limited edition consoles.
According to Monique Chatterjee, Senior Design Director at Xbox, the wraps have a custom, precision fit designed specifically for the Series X. Microsoft has taken care to ensure that the wraps do not impact the console’s performance, with clear vents and small feet added to promote proper airflow.
The wraps are available in different designs, such as Arctic Camo and Mineral Camo, each with matching Xbox Wireless Controller designs. Unlike third-party sticker sets, these wraps are a single piece and attach using Velcro on connecting sides to ensure a snug fit without air bubbles or alignment issues. Pre-orders for the wraps are available in the US and the UK.
