The divide between the desert-dwelling Eremites and the academics of Sumeru City played a significant role in Sumeru’s story. Additionally, pollution was addressed during the Sumeru storyline with the emergence of “Withering Zones” in the rainforest. The Version 4.0 update for Fontaine is expected to launch after the conclusion of Version 3.8 in mid-August.
