Garmin Venu 3 Smartwatch Could Soon Include Skin Temperature Tracking Feature

Upcoming Update Hints at Valuable Health Monitoring Addition

The Garmin Venu 3 smartwatch may soon introduce skin temperature tracking in a future update, enhancing its capabilities as a combined smartwatch and fitness tracker.

Gadgets & Wearables discovered that the latest Q4 beta for the Garmin Venu 3 included a skin temperature feature. Garmin quickly clarified that this addition was “inadvertently included in the change log and is not yet available to the public beta.” Nonetheless, this suggests that a future update will bring skin temperature tracking to the Venu 3.

The Garmin Venu 3 already possesses the necessary sensors for monitoring skin temperature, but this feature was not initially enabled when the smartwatch was launched. In contrast, some competitors like the Apple Watch Series 9 come equipped with the ability to track the wearer’s skin temperature, particularly during sleep.
