A Heracross has shrunk so much due to a strange Pokemon Scarlet and Violet insect that it is almost discernible. The amusing bug is only one of the numerous problems that plague the most recent entry in the venerable Pokemon series. This one is amusing, but it also draws attention to a persistent issue with the games.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have received appreciation for several of its improvements and modifications, such as moving to an open-world setting and allowing players to play with others. Additionally, the game has sold very well. The game’s many bugs, performance concerns, and other flaws, however, continue to irk a lot of players.
MrDjWalnut just posted a fresh video showing the bug in action. One trainer sends out Heracross in the middle of a raid. For a few whiles, everything looks to be expected, but then the Heracross abruptly disappears, then returns, having drastically shrunk, seeming even tinier than a Poke Doll. Fortunately, the visual glitch only has a passing effect on gameplay and is amusing. It’s unclear if the Heracross ever grew back to its original size during the battle, and it’s also unclear why it shrank in the first place.

Since Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s debut, gamers have unfortunately encountered a great number of glitches, and this is only one of them. Random Psyducks phasing in and out of the environment has been one of the most amusing bugs, but more serious issues have included models and landmarks blinking in and out, frame rate dips, and outright crashes. The game has displeased many Pokemon fans, regardless of whether the real issue lies in the Switch hardware’s capabilities as the system becomes older.
Fans love going on raids with other players, going on picnics, and just generally exploring the globe. But issues still persist, leading some gamers to wonder if the first Pokemon Scarlet and Violet patch accomplished anything to enhance the game’s performance. Pokemon games have always been relatively reliable, which has made these issues all the more heinous since many developers and publishers have been accused of delivering half-baked games that required more time in development.
Players will just have to put up with these strange issues until Game Freak releases a more important fix. Fans will have to wait to see when the next patch releases and if it is able to address the game’s more serious issues since the developer has been rather silent about the matter.
