Elden Ring

Gravel Stones can be found in locations where dragons have resided or currently reside. One such area is Dragonbarrow, situated in the southern region of Caelid. Here, you will encounter numerous dragon remains and a few living ones. This location is rich in sharp Gravel Stones. Additionally, south of the Divine Tower of Caelid, you will find a small lake inhabited by several dragons, and in the middle of this lake, you can discover Gravel Stones.

Leyndell is another excellent place to search for Gravel Stones. In this area, you will find a massive dragon corpse with Gravel Stones scattered across its wings. To increase your chances of finding these stones, explore the entire city thoroughly, as this resource can be found throughout the area. Alternatively, if you prefer not to gather the resources yourself, you can travel west of Dragonbarrow and encounter a merchant who will sell you Gravel Stones for 2,000 runes each.

Utilizing Gravel Stones in Elden Ring

Gravel Stones can be used to create the following two items:

  1. Dragonwound Grease
  2. Ancient Dragonbolt Pot

Dragonwound Grease is a lubricant applied to weapons, increasing damage against dragons. To craft it, you will need 1 Root Resin, 1 Beast Blood, and 1 Gravel Stone. When applied, it lasts for 60 seconds and increases your damage by 30% against dragons and 20% against ancient dragons.

The Ancient Dragonbolt Pot is a throwable item that inflicts lightning damage upon your enemies. As a consumable item, it should be used judiciously. To craft it, you must first acquire the Ancient Dragon Apostle’s Cookbook, which will teach you the recipe. The ingredients required are 2 Mushrooms, 1 Fulgurbloom, 1 Gravel Stone, and 1 Empty Ritual Pot.

Gravel Stones can become an integral part of your battles against dragons. While obtaining them may require facing these fearsome beasts, the resources they provide will make these encounters significantly easier.
