For the time being, the prospect of an updated Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp release date or re-opening pre-orders should be treated as a rumour at best. The battle in Ukraine is still ongoing and severe, which may prevent the game from being released.
In 2023, Nintendo has yet to hold a Direct event. However, it is difficult to forecast when these presentations may occur. If both Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp and the upcoming Zelda game were just updated in the Switch eShop, it’s possible that a Nintendo Direct is on the way. If a Nintendo Direct for early 2023 is revealed, Advance Wars fans can probably start getting enthusiastic again.
