The community objective for Winter Tales, which required participants to collect 6 million gifts overall, seems to have been established by Techland rather poorly. Dying Light 2 gamers only accomplished less than half that amount over the span of many weeks, with fewer than 3 million gifts collected. Because this was not just a case of people falling short, but rather a mistake on the part of the developer, Techland is enabling players to claim the Bauble Mace legendary weapon award from the event for free until February 12. Techland also apologised for creating an impossible target in the first place.
