If and when Duolingo’s Music app launches, it will add to the company’s expanding portfolio of educational software products, which already includes its ABC programme for teaching kids to read and write. Additionally, it includes a Math app that uses vibrant animations and interactive exercises to teach people multiplication, division, fractions, geometry, and measurements. It also provides an English Test app for language certification. According to TechCrunch, the company is most likely diversifying in order to ensure its survival and future revenue development. And so far, its strategy appears to be fruitful: Duolingo reported a 67 percent rise in paid members from the previous year in its earnings report (PDF) for the fourth quarter of 2022.
