Dehya’s Elemental Skill and Burst Revealed by Genshin Impact Leak

Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed more details about a popular character named Dehya, who has already appeared several times in the Sumeru storyline. With each new update, the game has established a pattern of adding at least one new character to the playable roster.

Currently, Genshin Impact version 3.1 has added three new roster members: Cyno and Candace on the first banner, and Nilou on the second. Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed that the long-awaited Dendro Archon Nahida, also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali, will be included in the upcoming version 3.2.

A new Gesnhin Impact leak has revealed more details about Dehya’s upcoming kit, including changes to her elemental skill and elemental burst. According to the leak, her elemental skill will cause her to bury the claymore, creating an area of effect that deals additional damage and applies the Pyro element. When the buff expires, Dehya can retrieve her weapon, which was confirmed in a recent Genshin Impact trailer to be a claymore, dealing additional Pyro damage in a large radius. Her elemental burst appears to be much more complicated, as it allows her to deal fixed amounts of damage every 0.4 seconds for the duration of the 3.5-second burst.

Dehya’s burst also enables her to perform up to three unique moves, including the ability to teleport behind enemies. After the burst, she launches an AoE Pyro attack that appears to deal massive damage. Multiple comments in the comment section praise HoYoverse for bestowing ninja-like abilities on Dehya, despite the fact that she is an Eremite mercenary. While there is no official release date, it is safe to assume that she will not appear in the two upcoming updates, which will introduce Nahida and the 6th Harbinger Scaramouche.

Because of her significance to the Sumeru storyline, she is expected to have a five-star rarity. In terms of personality, the official storyline confirms that Dehya is a very loyal character who is always dedicated to her job and would never let the people who hire her down. While no official information on her element has been released, the leak strongly suggests that she will be a new Pyro character in Genshin Impact with high DPS or sub-DPS potential.

Dehya’s elemental ability may also allow her to be selected as an off-field Pyro support. Given that she will not be included in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.2, the game will go over a year without introducing a new Pyro character since Thoma was introduced on November 2, 2021.
