Call of Duty: Warzone will start disabling cheaters’ parachutes

While the Modern Warfare 3 game is the centre of attention right now, the developers have made another announcement and this time, it is regarding Call of Duty: Warzone. The update concerns the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat measures, and trust is, this is something you want to read.

According to the update, it seems that the CoD team has made some updates and additions to the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat and they have named it ‘Splat’. With ‘Splat’, players who are using hacks or exploits in their sessions, their parachutes will be disabled and the cheers will literals hurtle towards the ground and get killed on impact.

According to the blog post – “With Splat, if a cheater is discovered, we may randomly, and for fun, disable their parachute, sending them careening into the ground after they deploy,”

“But what if we catch them after they’ve deployed? Well, Splat can also adjust player velocity, which transforms a bunny hop into a 10,000-foot drop, taking them out instantly. This is one of many new tricks we’ve developed – and we’ll talk about more in the future.”

“While it’s fun to annoy cheaters that make it into games, our aim is to prevent them from ever getting near a match,” the post continues. “Prevention is key to the continued evolution of RICOCHET: Anti-Cheat.”

At this point, there is no confirmation that this will be included in the Modern Warfare 3 game, but it is not impossible that they bring it into the new game in some form in the near future.
