Blizzard has confirmed that buffs are coming to Diablo 4’s Sorcerers and Barbarians in the upcoming Patch 1.1.1, set to roll out on August 8. Both classes suffered from significant nerfs in Patch 1.1.0, affecting their strength and resilience adversely. The development team’s goal is to improve the effectiveness and fun of these classes by addressing the balance of different damage-dealing methods.
Sorcerers can expect improvements that will help them survive in late-game activities, with the removal of detrimental item effects. Barbarians, on the other hand, will receive more Fury to invest in their skills, along with positive changes to their Unique items.
Additionally, players can look forward to a new stash tab, the ability to stack up to 99 Elixir, and a 40% reduction in the cost of respecs. There will also be improvements to Legendary drops after level 35.
While other changes are in the works, the development team needs more time to address issues like the Necromancer minion builds, which are expected to come in future updates.
Diablo 4’s Season of the Malignant is already underway, offering new challenges and customization options for players to explore in the game’s open world.
Overall, the changes and improvements coming to Diablo 4 aim to enhance the gameplay experience for players and address some of the concerns raised after the release of Patch 1.1.0.
