The Ayaneo Kun, a new handheld PC from Chinese manufacturer Ayaneo, is set to launch soon with impressive specifications. It features an 8.4-inch IPS HD display with a 1600p resolution, promising excellent visual quality. The device is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor, offering “ultra gaming performance,” a significant improvement over its predecessor, the Ayaneo Air Plus.
Other notable features include a 75Wh 19,500mAh battery for extended playtime, Hall effect analog sticks and triggers to prevent drift, heat dissipation technology, facial recognition, and Steam Deck-like touchpads for emulated mouse control.
Given Ayaneo’s history of producing high-end handheld PCs, the Ayaneo Kun is expected to come with a hefty price tag. Previous models, such as the Ayaneo Air Plus, were priced between $599 to $749 for different configurations. The upcoming Kun, with its superior specifications, may even cross the four-figure mark, approaching $1,000 or more.
While the exact pricing has not been revealed yet, the Kun’s impressive specs and features make it a top contender in the handheld PC market, competing with the likes of the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally. Potential buyers should prepare for a significant investment if they are looking to get their hands on this powerful handheld device.
