Aston Martin teases ‘something big’ for Canada to rival Mercedes upgrades

Alonso, fueled by his desire to not only avoid one-off successes but also challenge Verstappen for race wins, expressed his eagerness for imminent improvements. He confidently stated, “I think that in two weeks we will see a completely different picture and, hopefully, we will fight with the Red Bulls soon. In Canada, we will bring more stuff, in Silverstone too… It will depend on who brings the improvements.” Bolstering his statement, Alonso added, “I think it’s a race, and in Canada, we crush them.”

In response to Alonso’s aspirations, team boss Mike Krack affirmed their commitment to meeting the driver’s expectations. He acknowledged Alonso’s push for better performance, stating, “He is right to ask us and push us for that. There will be something coming in Canada. It will be a step.”
