Ubisoft has started seeding Update 1.05 for all consoles and it brings in some much needed fixes, including one that was preventing players from missing out on a major campaign related fight. The developers have expressed surprise over this little glitch and have no real idea as to how this oversight happened in the first place.
We will not reveal the fight as there may be some of you who have not yet played the game, but other than that, the fixes that have been released are for the quests titled ‘Speak with Ali'(Ali can no longer get stuck), and ‘Follow the Fiery Trail’ (blockers have been removed from the investigative objective), and ‘Nehal’s Calling’ (players can access the final clue without a problem). Ubisoft has also released a few stability related fixes and the game should feel a lot smoother and stable now.
There have been some reports of low quality graphics elements, and weapons, which the developers have acknowledged and fixed. We have installed the update on our console, and we can attest to the fact that the problems that we had noticed with the quests, have been addressed and the game is a lot more enjoyable now.
One more thing we have noticed is that there is now an option to turn off the background music during the call to prayer action, which is a neat little attention to detail. The rest of the changed can be found in the official changelog on the website. Be warned though, there is a sizeable spoiler in the logs, so proceed with caution.
