Apple Admits to iPhone 15 Pro Overheating

Apple confirms overheating concerns in the iPhone 15 Pro models and is actively addressing the issue.

Apple points out Instagram, Uber, and Asphalt 9: Legends as specific apps contributing to the overheating problem. However, a solution is in the works through a forthcoming software update, rather than any hardware-related complications. This update, iOS 17.1, is currently in the beta phase, promising relief in the near future.

No Performance Throttling

Despite speculations of performance throttling to mitigate overheating, Apple assures users that it won’t be necessary. The A17 Pro chip and the titanium materials used in the iPhone 15 Pro models aren’t to blame. Apple is actively collaborating with third-party app developers to ensure their apps are well-behaved and not overly taxing on the devices.
