Apparently, an iOS problem in Apple Music is mucking up people’s playlists

According to several Redditors, iOS users of Apple Music are drawing attention to a very major flaw that makes other people’s playlists and songs appear in their libraries. Additionally, some users have expressed dissatisfaction that their own playlists have completely vanished or have been substituted by others, according to a report from 9to5Mac.

The problem seems to be isolated to the iOS Apple Music app and may be the result of an iCloud problem that is incorrectly syncing data between users. Some people said that turning off and then back on iCloud synchronisation solved the problem. You may find that button under Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Show All.

Similar iCloud syncing concerns have already been reported by Apple. After the iPhone 13 was introduced, some users discovered that if they moved their data from another phone, they would no longer have access to their Music libraries. Additionally, Windows iCloud customers last year expressed concern over the corrupted videos and photographs that other users had uploaded to their Photo Libraries. Engadget has contacted Apple for more details, but the company has not yet commented on the most recent issue.
