Earlier this year, Gurman reported that Apple was in the advanced stages of development for two new iMac models featuring the M3 chip. The new chipset is expected to offer significant performance and power efficiency improvements due to TSMC’s 3nm process. Gurman previously predicted that the new iMac could arrive in the second half of 2023 with a colorful design similar to the 2021 model. He also mentioned that Apple is working on a 32-inch iMac, but its release is not expected until late 2024 at the earliest.
