All you need to know about the Midori Browser

There are hundreds, if not thousands of web browsers in the market, each flaunting fast speeds, security, and even anonymity on the internet, and while there are some that actually deliver, there are also those that just scam you. The demand today is for lightweight browsers, and a somewhat understated option we found recently, is the Midori browser.

All you need to know about the Midori Browser

The Midori web browser is everything that they advertise – light, fast, secure, free software & open source. The developers have stressed that the main objective of the Midori browser is to maintain your privacy online, by not collecting information or selling invasive advertising.

The major features of the Midori web browser are as follows –

Multi-Platform

The Midori browser has been developed to work on all major platforms in the market, including, Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. There is no iOS version of the Midori browser yet, and we don’t have any confirmation on whether or not they will be making on in the future.

Due to its multi-platform nature, the Midori browser allows you auto carry your browsing anywhere you go, be it on your PC at work, or on your smartphone when you are at home.

Privacy and Anonymity

The Midori browser has been developed, keeping in mind, your privacy and security online. The way it does this is by preventing sites from getting access to any of your data. They also prevent the allocation of ads, which means you get a browsing experience that is pure and hassle-free.

Also, the Midori browser uses the DuckDuckGO search engine for privacy.

Sync and Cloud Storage

Midori has integration to a service called Astian Cloud that can synchronize your information, history, bookmarks, passwords, and much more, all information uses end-to-end encryption.

When we tested the Midori browser, we found that Astian has gone completely Spartan with this project, and we found little to no bloatware in the platform. The DuckDuckGo search engine has been notoriously used in all the browsers that promise anonymity (like Tor), and the general response and search results are accurate.
